The Mechanical Disc Brake Assembly is a replacement part manufactured for E-Z-GO Electric vehicles with 10" or larger wheels and current drum brakes that were manufactured since 1991. This disc brake assembly provides the vehicle with 25% more stopping power and 45% parking brake power than the drum brakes. The pad lining life surpasses the drum brakes by 40% and the calipers are less likely to suffer from drum brake issues such as fading, over-adjustment, aggressiveness and noise which sometimes occurs during early morning use. This brake assembly is a definite upgrade to the vehicle's braking system.
Please Note: This brake assembly should not be installed on vehicles with an 8" rim.
